Recent Activities

According to Section 13 of the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 and 03 in the upazila of Narail district, union committee was formed in upazila committees of 3 upazilas and 39 upazilas in 03 upazilas according to the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering and Conservation of consumer rights. Under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009, 36 teams have been supervised by the Mobile Team in Narail district and total amount of Rs. 2,4,500 / -Tax penalty has been imposed and collected. In order to increase public awareness, consumer rights related posters, leaflets and pamphlets have been distributed in district, upazila and union, and also have been interacted with various religious organizations including delegates, journalists, school college students, teachers and mosques. Also, 07 public hearings have been organized. A total of 5 seminars have been organized in Narail district and all upazilas on the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009. District complaints box has been set up for consumer complaints. World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated in Narail district and in every upazila.
